Healthy food is also a priority for Jenny, that's why her mentorship works with the Kohala Center on the Farm to School food program and her students are part of the Hanauna Ola project, which will help provistion the Makaliʻi canoe with fresh and fresh preserved foods from their garden and community, for her upcoming voyage.

Jenny is fulfilled working her students in Ka Hana Noʻeau because she gets to share with them per passions outside of the classroom. Her students work HARD and have FUN! In a small community like Kohala, its crucial to have a positive and engaging environment for the students; Jenny definitely provides it!
