Morris Takushi

Board Member Emeritus

Since February 2009, Morris Takushi has served as an Emeritus Board member of Partners in Development Foundation.  Mr. Takushi served as one of the original board members and officers of PIDF from 1998.  He was instrumental in establishing operational procedures for the foundation as it continued to grow and maintained his position as Secretary/Treasurer through October 2006.  He then served as Vice President from November 2006 through November 2008.

Besides his continued involvement with PIDF, he has been a managing partner of Hawaii 5-0 Technologies Services, Inc. since 2003 and serving as the President of Hawaii 5-0 Development, Construction and Maintenance, Inc. since 2005.  Mr. Takushi also served for thirty years with the State of Hawaii, Office of the Lieutenant Governor as the Director of Elections and prior to that as an engineer with Hawaiian Dredging & Construction Company.

Mr. Takushi resides in Honolulu and spends much of his off hours in church related ministries.  Highlights in his ministries have been to take his family, particularly his two grandkids, to serve in orphanages in Thailand.
